在中国医师节到来之际，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平向全国广大医务工作者致以节日的祝贺。 President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, has sent greetings to medical workers across the country ahead of China's Medical Workers' Day. 习近平指出，广大医务工作者是推动卫生健康事业发展的重要力量。新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，广大医务工作者义无反顾冲上疫情防控第一线，同时间赛跑，与病魔较量，为抗击疫情作出了重大贡献，彰显了敬佑生命、救死扶伤、甘于奉献、大爱无疆的崇高精神。 Noting that medical workers are a vital force in advancing the cause of healthcare, Xi said since the COVID-19 outbreak, a great number of medical workers have raced against time and fought tenaciously against the virus at the frontlines.
