3月13日上午9时，第十二届全国人民代表大会第四次会议在人民大会堂举行第三次全体会议，听取最高人民法院院长周强关于最高人民法院工作的报告，听取最高人民检察院检察长曹建明关于最高人民检察院工作的报告。 最高人民法院工作报告要点 Highlights of the work report on the Supreme People's Court 各级法院审结危害国家安全、暴力恐怖犯罪案件1084件，判处罪犯1419人。 Chinese courts concluded the trial of 1,084 cases and convicted 1,419 criminals of harming state security and terrorist attacks in 2017. 加大对煽动分裂国家、组织领导参加恐怖组织、传播暴力恐怖音视频等犯罪的打击力度。 The courts stepped up efforts against criminals who instigated secessionist activities; who led, organized and took part in terrorist groups; and who spread video and audio products about terrorism. 各级法院审结一审刑事案件109.9万件，判处罪犯123.2万人，同比上升7.5%和4%。 A total of 1.23 million people were found guilty in nearly 1.1 million criminal cases last year, a year-on-year increase of 4 percent and 7.5 percent respectively. 各级法院审结贪污贿赂等犯罪案件3.4万件4.9万人，被告人原为厅局级以上干部的134人。 Chinese courts concluded 34,000 graft trials in 2017 with about 49,000 people involved in the cases, the figure included 134 officials at prefecture level and above. |
