ANKARA, May 3-- Turkey's total confirmed cases of COVID-19 reached 126,045, with 1,670 new patients reported in the last 24 hours, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Sunday. The death toll from the novel coronavirus in Turkey reached 3,397 after 61 more lost their lives over the past 24 hours, Koca tweeted. Turkey conducted a total of 24,001 tests in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of tests carried out to 1,135,367, the minister noted. |
