今天我读了《圆明园的毁灭》一文，心情澎湃，觉得火烧圆明园是历史上一个莫大的耻辱。 Today, I read the article "the destruction of the Old Summer Palace". At last, the Old Summer Palace was turned into ashes by fire. 就当我读到“英法联军侵入北京，闯进圆明园。他们把园内凡是能掠走的东西统统掠走，拿不动的，就用大车或牲口搬运。实在运不走的，就任意破坏，毁掉”时，我肺都气炸了。我仿佛看到那些前来侵略的敌人们见到园中的奇珍异宝都惊呆了，疯狂地将贵重的物品占为己有，他们的腰包都塞得满满的。要是遇到那些比较重的瓷器，他们拿不走，可恶的敌人就用牲口搬运或用棍子将这些瓷器打碎。他们如此无法无天，就是因为当时的中国太落后了，再加上没有什么先进的武器，所以才处处受到各国侵略者的欺负。 When I read "the British French invasion of Beijing, into the Yuanmingyuan.
