LONDON, Feb. 14-- The staggered winter break in the Premier League means that once again only half of the teams are in action this weekend, but the games promise to provide plenty of entertainment once again. The weekend starts on Friday night with Wolves looking to strengthen their case for a place in Europe next season as they entertain Leicester City. Two draws and a defeat have seen Nuno Espiritu Santo's side stumble in recent games, while Leicester travel with striker Jamie Vardy looking to get back on the scoresheet after five matches without a goal. Southampton and Burnley face each other on Saturday lunchtime in an even looking match with both knowing that a run of good form now would mean they too have an outside chance of playing in Europe next campaign. Liverpool will expect to maintain their march to this season's title with a trip to bottom of the table Norwich City. The main question ahead of the game is how many players Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp will rest ahead of his side's vital Champions League visit to play an always difficult Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night. Only Norwich have won fewer times away from home than Tottenham this season and that will give hope to Aston Villa, who entertain Jose Mourinho's men on Sunday on the back of consecutive home wins. Expect Aston Villa's Jack Grealish to once again be his side's main threat against a rival that has struggled to defend its flanks for much of the season. |
