LONDON, Aug. 6-- Nafissatou Thiam added another glory after Olympic gold medal as she claimed women's heptathlon title at the IAAF World Championships here on Sunday. The Belgian Thiam snatched a total of 6,784 points for a top finish among all athletes. "It's really incredible. I'm so happy about the win," she said. Carolin Schafer of Germany got a sliver medal with 6,696 points. The bronze went to Anouk Vetter of the Netherlands, who finished with 6,636 points. |
