RABAT, Aug. 18-- The Moroccan squad on Friday beat Egypt 3-1 to qualify for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in 2018. At Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco dominated the match, with three goals from Jaouad Al Yamiq, Abderahim Amqran and Badr Boulhroud in the 49th, 52th and 62nd minutes respectively. The Egyptian side scored its sole goal in 84th minute after Moroccan Hamza Samoumi against his own goal. In the first leg, the two teams ended 1-1 in Egypt. The CHAN, which exclusively features players who are active in the national championships, will be played in Kenya in January. |
