国际青年日是全世界革命青年反帝国主义、反军国主义、反世界大战的纪念日。1999年12月17日，在第54/120号决议中，联合国大会赞同主管青年事物部长世界会议提出的建议，决定将每年的8月12日定为“国际青年日”，大会还建议组织宣传活动支持青年日，提高人们对大会1995年通过的《到2000年及其后世界青年行动纲领》的认识。 国际青年日为争取多方面支持和重要行为人的参与提供一个绝佳的机会。各国政府、非政府组织、学术机构、工商界以及青年将携手合作，回顾过去取得的成绩，使世界青年行动纲领发挥更大作用。 Message by PM Justin Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau on the International Youth Day August 12, 2017 Prime Minister Trudeau: Hello, everyone!
