BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 10-- Chaudhary Saurabh continued India's shooting dominance at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires by winning the boys' 10m air pistol event on Wednesday.

The 16-year-old finished with a score of 244.2, 7.5 points ahead of second-placed Sung Yunho of South Korea. Swiss marksman Jason Solari took bronze with 215.6 points.

The result took India's shooting medal tally here to two golds and two silvers from four events.

"We have a lot of support from our families, our coaches and the federation," Saurabh said. "If you put that together with a lot of hard work and a bit of luck ... then good things happen."

Sung rallied late after languishing in sixth place following the qualification round.

"I wasn't shooting to the best of my ability early on," he said. "For the final rounds I calmed down and was able to improve."

Solari also struggled early before firing a 10.6 with his penultimate shot to surge back into contention.

"I knew I needed a special shot to win the bronze medal," Solari said. "I wasn't looking at the scores all the time, but that I knew. It was an amazing feeling to be able to finish in third position."

Kazakhstan's Eldar Imankulov looked well-placed for a podium finish but failed to maintain momentum with his final attempts.

Great Britain's James Miller (GBR) narrowly missed a place in the final eight after posting the same overall score as Imankulov, only with two fewer bullseyes: "To miss out on the final after being so close to it is a bit irritating, but if I get annoyed, nothing will change," Miller said. "The best thing to do is to feel happy and stay positive."
