JAKARTA, Nov. 16-- Two women's double pairs from China and Indonesia will meet in the semifinals of the Badminton World Junior Championship in Canada. The Chinese pair Chen Yingxue/Li Yijing will play Indonesia's Agatha Imanuela/Siti Fadia Silvia Ramadhanti in the Pan Am Center in Ontario on Saturday. "The most important [thing] is to keep focusing for each point, and not to weaken," said Fadia ahead of Saturday's match. Agatha/Fadia defeated India's Aditi Bhatt/Tanisha Crasto 21-13, 21-11. Chen Yingying/Zhang Shuxian will face Indonesia's Riska Sugiarto and Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma. Riska/Febriana went to the semifinal after they beat Li Zi Qing/Teng Chun Shun from Chinese Taipei 21-18, 21-15. Indonesia has sent 20 young shuttlers to the tournament. It secured two titles in the World Junior Championships last year. |
