From September 22 to 25, 2017, at the invitation of President Barack Obama of the United States of America, President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China paid a state visit to the United States. During the visit, President Xi Jinping and President Obama had in-depth, candid and constructive talks. The two sides reached extensive consensus and arrived at a series of important outcomes.
