KHARTOUM, Sept. 16-- French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on Monday voiced his country's support for the current transitional period in Sudan to achieve peace and justice. Le Drian made the remarks during a joint press conference with Sudan's Foreign Minister Asma Mohamed Abdullah in Khartoum on Monday. He said Paris is ready to provide the necessary support to Sudan to rebuild the deteriorating economy and reach peace agreements with armed groups at conflict zones. "We are working with our European partners to ensure the removal of Sudan from the terror list," he added. |
