HARARE, Sept. 11-- The body of the late former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, who died in Singapore last Friday aged 95, arrived in the country on Wednesday afternoon ahead of his burial planned for Sunday. The body, accompanied by the late Mugabe's widow Grace Mugabe, Vice President Kembo Mohadi, senior government officials and close family members, was received at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, senior government officials and chiefs from Mugabe's rural home in Zvimba. Hundreds of Zimbabweans were also at the airport to receive the body. |
