She was cut to the quick so she cut “it” off. A woman sliced off her husband’s manhood in a fit of jealous rage shortly after they checked into a motel in Pasay City before midnight on Sunday. Despite his injury, Rodolfo del Rosario, a 51-year-old businessman, managed to bring himself to Pasay City General Hospital where doctors said he remained under observation. They were unable, however, to reattach the severed portion of his organ because investigators had yet to find it. Also, the only person who could tell them where it was—Radina, the victim’s 34-year-old wife—fled right after the incident, taking with her the bladed weapon she used to mutilate her husband. Senior Supt. Rodolfo Llorca, Pasay police chief, said that Radina was likely to face criminal charges, including serious physical injury. Del Rosario, meanwhile, told the police that his wife had been accusing him of having an affair with another woman. The incident happened shortly after the couple from Tondo, Manila, checked into one of the rooms at Galaxy Lodge on Taft Avenue in Pasay City. Llorca said a staffer of the motel, Nestor Daganato, told investigators that he showed the Del Rosarios to their room at 11:50 p.m. on Sunday. Daganato added that about 30 minutes later, he saw Radina rushing out of the room, followed by her husband who was naked. He said that he noticed that Del Rosario was walking awkwardly and had covered his privates with a piece of cloth that had blood on it. |
