That works out as 65 different jars, tubes and bottles, each worth £30.22 on average. But less than a sixth of these – £327 worth – are used regularly, with the women surveyed admitting a fifth of their stash had never even been opened. Instead, they rely on the same 11 products each day. But they said they couldn’t bring themselves to throw out the unopened products – worth around £200 – in case they were needed for a special occasion.
