DHAKA, Aug. 15-- A major fire gutted a plastic factory in the old part of Bangladesh capital Dhaka on late Wednesday night, no casualty has been reported yet. The fire broke out in a single-storey tin-shed house in old Dhaka's Lalbagh Posta area at round 11:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday night. "Sixteen units of fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at around 1:00 a.m.," said Babul Miah, officer at the Department of Fire Service and Civil Defence. |
