BEIJING, Feb. 12-- A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Tuesday stressed improving the quality of workers on publicity and ideological fronts. Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks at a conference on publicity and ideological work. He called for steady efforts to carry out the initiative launched on publicity and ideological fronts to improve workers' "four essential abilities", namely investigating and studying, being observant and of sound judgment, sticking to correct political direction and at the same time making bold innovations, and being experts in expressing ideas and public communication. The official urged publicity and ideological workers to improve their professional skills and bring forth new ideas to make innovations in their work. |
