BEIJING, Feb. 20-- China's top anti-graft body has laid out its 2019 work priorities, which include upholding the Party's political building as the top principle and innovating the disciplinary inspection and supervision system. This was disclosed in a report delivered at the third plenary session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) by the commission's chief Zhao Leji on Jan. 11. The report was made public on Wednesday. Enhancing the Party's political building should be taken as the overarching principle, with resolute action to crack down on the practice of formalities for formalities' sake and bureaucratism, according to the report. The system and mechanism for disciplinary inspection and supervision will be innovated in order to convert the advantages of the overall system into more efficiency governance, the report said. It also highlighted further efforts to intensify political inspection and crack down on corruption to consolidate and expand the sweeping victory in the fight against corruption. |
