PHNOM PENH, March 15-- Cambodia and South Korea on Friday signed five cooperation documents to boost bilateral ties and cooperation. Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen and visiting South Korean President Moon Jae-in witnessed the signing ceremony of the documents after their bilateral meeting at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh. The documents were focused on cooperation in public health, transport infrastructure development, electricity project, information and communication technology (ICT), and trade and investment promotion, Hun Sen said in a joint press conference after the signing ceremony. Before the signing ceremony, Hun Sen and Moon held talks, discussing cooperation in all fields for the interests of the two countries and peoples. "The bilateral talks were concluded with a close, frank and fraternal atmosphere," Hun Sen said. "We highly valued the growing bilateral relations in a number of sectors such as trade, investment, agriculture, finance, industry, tourism and education." Moon arrived in Cambodia on Thursday for a three-day visit at the invitation of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni. |
