LONDON, June 21-- Chinese Ambassador to the United Kingdom Liu Xiaoming on Friday said he trusted that Britain will make its decision independently, in the UK's national interest and in the interest of Sino-UK cooperation. Liu said in an exclusive interview with Sky News that even though there have always been differences between China and Britain, these differences have not prevented the countries from working for the common good. Liu said Huawei is a good company and it has made its contribution to the telecom industry in the country. The Ambassador said Huawei is the leader in 5G technology. "I do hope that the UK will keep Huawei for the benefit," he said. |
