☆佳作诵读 Recently, the topic of whether English should be tested in a reformed way has been heatedly discussed. Many believe the current evaluation procedures hinder students' comprehensive abilities and therefore argue for a reform. Personally, I am against this point of view. There are numerous reasons 1.why I think so, but today I would only explore some of them. Firstly, I don't think our comprehensive abilities are hindered. ②To my knowledge, many of my classmates are good at all the four skills of English. Moreover, the current testing system is nothing but the fairest way for students to get selected for college study. Admittedly, there is pressure nowadays. But who can guarantee a new testing method will spare us from pressure? ③As to the development of comprehensive language abilities, I believe the only solution is we students practice more, either listening and reading or speaking and writing. 2.Only in this way can we learn English in an effective way.
