Joint Statement by the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 中华人民共和国政府与尼日利亚联邦共和国政府联合声明 January 11, 2017 2017年1月11日 The Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are committed to strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries to the benefit of their peoples. 中华人民共和国政府与尼日利亚联邦共和国政府致力于加强两国长期友好合作关系，以惠及两国人民。 The Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria reaffirm their respect for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. 中华人民共和国政府与尼日利亚联邦共和国政府重申相互尊重主权和领土完整。 The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria reaffirms that the one China policy is at the core of its Strategic Partnership with China. 尼日利亚联邦共和国政府重申一个中国政策是尼中战略伙伴关系的核心。 The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria recognizes that there is only one China in the world, that the Government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China, and that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory. The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria reiterates not to have any official relations or engage in any official contacts with Taiwan, and supports all efforts made by the Chinese Government to realize national reunification. |
