The Important Things in Life 生活中重要的事情 A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches indiameter. 课前，一位哲学教授站在讲台上，他面前的桌子上放了几样东西。上课后，教授什么也没说，他拿起一个又大又空的蛋黄酱罐子，然后往里面放入大概2英寸直径的小石块。 He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. 然后，他问学生这个罐子是否已经满了？学生们都回答说是。 So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly.
