SIXTH STORY The Lapland Woman and the Finland Woman(Five) 第六个故事：拉普兰女人和芬兰女人(五) They were the out posts of the Snow Queen. They had the most wondrous shapes; some looked like large ugly porcupines; others like snakes knotted together, with their heads sticking out; and others,again, like small fat bears, with the hair standing on end: all were of dazzling whiteness--all were living snow-flakes. 它们是白雪皇后的前哨兵，而且是奇形怪状的。有的样子像丑陋的大刺猬;有的像许多伸出头、纠成一团的蛇;有的像毛发直立的小胖熊。它们全都是白得发亮的、有生命的雪花。 Little Gerda repeated the Lords Prayer. The cold was so intense that she could see her own breath, which came like smoke out of her mouth.
