They were given one five-minute break per hour but were allowed no more than five cups of coffee a day. In between World Cup broadcasts, the women watched recorded matches and football documentaries. Australias hopes of reaching the knocking-out stages were badly dented after June 14s 4-0 defeat by Germany.
