Section A Short Conversation 1. M:Youre a wonderful cook,Ann. Everything is so good. W: Glad you like it. I didnt do all of these dishes,though,Linda helped me. Q: Who did all of the dishes? 2. W:I wish Id gone with you. I didnt like the play. The acting was quite a disappointment. M: Im sorry about that. We had a delightful time at the Amusement Center. Q: Who had a wonderful time? 3. M:Id like to make two reservations on flight 692 for December 26. W: Im sorry. Weve booked up on the twenty-sixth. But we still have a few available on the twenty-seventh. Q: When does the man want to leave? 4. W:I have to think about your offer. I cant say yes or no at the moment. It is due if you let me know your decision in a couple of days. Q: Whats the mans opinion? 5. W: How many literature courses have you taken at the University? M: Ive had only one course each in American and British literature. I wish I had had more,especially in other languages. |
