  According to the US Bureau of Justice Statisticsfirearmincidents accounted nine percent of the 4.7million violent crimes in 2005. Soalthough opinion polls show most Americans want stricter gun lawsmany dont want to give up their arms they to protect themselves.

  Dave Hancocka Virginia gun lover, is one example. In an interview he saidIf one professor in the Virginia incident had been carrying a legal weaponthey might have been able to all this. In his opinion, the massacreis an argument for more people to carry weaponsnot fewer.
