How I Wish China Would Be United Sooner! July 1st, 2002 Fine Hong Kong and Macao are parts of China in history, but they were separated from the motherland for some political reasons. China has been getting richer and stronger since its opening to the outside world. On July 1, 1997, Hong Kong finally returned home. On December 20, 1999, Macao returned home, too.
