这一阵儿一直跟冬子和关新忙着写书，自己手头的工作也忙，博客更新的没以前快了，抱歉哈。 最近在备课时找到一些很好的讲老人的材料，跟大家分享。 下面这段文字就是来自蒙特利尔的Zach在讲述自己的祖母减肥的故事，能看出老太太是个很有毅力、很能吃苦的人。不过我老觉着我的奶奶更不容易。 我的爷爷在我能记事之前就去世了，奶奶一直一个人，老太太很倔强，很疼孩子，最疼我爸，但我爸也最让她伤心。老人家04年去世的，当时我在教课了，没能赶回去，一直是个愧疚，不过没能让她生前来北京看看才是个更大的愧疚。那个时候起知道了什么都可以等，谁也可以等，但不能让老人等。 My grandmother Myra is a very dedicated woman. Once she sets her mind on something, then theres no stopping her. In this case, thats a good thing because to do what she did requires extreme dedication. My grandmother is very close to her family. Shes probably the most loved member of the family. Shes kind, considerate and very generous. She adores dogs, especially Basset hounds. Shes extremely helpful wherever she goes. She also loves to cook . Shes the kind of person who will change her entire days plan in order to make someone she loves happy. She calls all of her grandchildren every single day. She always cares if were upset for any reason. |
