Giant Pandas live in the jungle, but my experience seeing and learning about pandas has been at the Beijing Zoo, where there is a nice exhibit dedicated to pandas. As most people know, they are black and white in color, usually with large black patches on their eyes. Their diet consists almost entirely of bamboo, which I find especially interesting. However, although many people love pandas because they look so cute, they are still bears and can be ferocious creatures. While the dragon is historically significant as a symbol of China, the Giant Panda is also important as a cultural icon. |
