A: Tom真是个大草包，信念不坚定，遇事儿也不过脑子。 B: 他看来是挺软弱的。 【语言点精讲】 insect repellent: 驱虫剂。 never mind: 某事不重要，没有关系，不要记在心上。 a man of straw: 愿意是指稻草人。放在田间吓鸟的稻草人通常是无效的，因此这个短语用来形容某人无能或软弱，无法自己做决定或容易被他人影响。 think through: 彻底地全面考虑。 an empty shell: 形容某人性格上软弱、虚弱。也可以形容感情上凄凉、空寂。 |
