Today is one of the happiest and saddest days in my life.I am very happy that Mr.Jones has been promoted to the director of the Los Angeles branch.However,I am very sad that he has to leave us behind. As you know,for the past five years Mr. Jones has been with us,he has always been our pride,with his talent,abilities,and warm personality.He always made an extra effort to adapt himself to the Chinese way of life and business. Indeed,his absence from this office is a big loss,but it will definitely be a great gain for the Los Angeles office.
