让阅读课打破沉寂

<p>。(或许你们喜欢,但我不是)一个学生猜是“<span word="National">National</span> <span word="Day">Day</span> ”。(国庆节)我跟他说“<span word="the">the</span> <span word="answer">answer</span> <span word="is">is</span> <span word="close">close</span> <span word="to">to</span> <span word="the">the</span> <span word="right">right</span> <span word="one">one</span>”。(答案已经接近了)“<span word="It">It</span> <span word="must">must</span> <span word="be">be</span> <span word="Children">Children</span>’<span word="s">s</span> <span word="Day">Day</span>.”(那一定是儿童节了)另一个学生说。然后我告诉他们我最盼望的是<span word="Spring">Spring</span> <span word="Festival">Festival</span>.(春节)“<span word="We">We</span> <span word="can">can</span> <span word="enjoy">enjoy</span> <span word="delicious">delicious</span> <span word="food">food</span> <span word="such">such</span> <span word="as">as</span> <span word="meat">meat</span> <span word="and">and</span> <span word="fish">fish</span>. <span word="We">We</span> <span word="can">can</span> <span word="wear">wear</span> <span word="new">new</span> <span word="clothes">clothes</span> <span word="and">and</span> <span word="get">get</span> <span word="lucky">lucky</span> <span word="money">money</span>. <span word="That">That</span> <span word="is">is</span> <span word="the">the</span> <span word="happiest">happiest</span> <span word="day">day</span> <span word="for">for</span> <span word="most">most</span> <span word="children">children</span> <span word="then">then</span>.”这样我们就引出了本堂阅读课的关键词“<span word="Festival">Festival</span>”(节日)。</p><p>在轻松而有目的的交流后,我让学生想象与<span word="Festival">Festival</span>有关的词汇,可以自己搜索已经学过的单词,也可以学生之间交流,还可以查阅字典。学生们很活跃,为找到和知道一个与“节日”有关的单词而兴奋。我们进行了小组竞赛,看哪一组找到的词汇最多最快。我还让学生列举出他们所知道的节日有哪些。平时一贯沉寂的课堂像煮开了锅一样,气氛异常活跃。</p><p> 接着,我交代了今天要学习的课题是节日和庆典。我让学生想象如果他们是作者的话会写些什么。学生们纷纷发言。有的说会介绍一些节日和人们如何庆祝这些节日,有的说会介绍这些节日的起源,还有的说会谈谈人们为什么要庆祝这些节日。通过进行假设,我让学生对课文有了一个预先的感知。让学生带着疑问去看课文,看看自己有没有猜对。做好了这些铺垫工作以后我针对整篇课文给学生提出四个问题,在阅读教材的基础上,让学生分组讨论这四个问题。</p>
